Redeemed Equine was born out of necessity. Jerry and Julia Huntsinger have spent their entire lives in the equine world. Jerry’s passion for horses led him to become a farrier and later an Applied Equine Podiatrist, always striving to provide the best care possible. A big part of that is educating clients on what’s best for their horse’s hooves and overall health.
For over 26 years, Jerry has traveled more than 300 miles from his home in Goldendale, Washington, working everywhere from the high deserts of Central Oregon to the damp climate of the Pacific Northwest. Both extremes present their own hoof care challenges, but they have one thing in common—bacteria and fungus.
Over the years, Jerry and his clients tried countless products claiming to fight these issues. Some worked but damaged healthy tissue in the process. Others, like essential oils, helped but had their limitations. Frustrated by products that fell short, Jerry had a passion to create something better—effective, safe, and reliable.
The idea sat on the shelf for a while until, in 2019, Jerry met with a chemist who understood CBD compounds. When she asked about her horse’s hooves, Jerry shared his concerns and his vision for a hoof product that actually worked. With her deep knowledge of science and chemistry, she believed she could bring that vision to life.
Together, they spent countless hours testing and refining formulas, conducting case studies, and working in uncharted territory. The results spoke for themselves—horses’ hooves and bodies healed in a remarkably short time.
